Alexia Kontolemos Calvillo is part of a big, multicultural family who lives in Montreal with her California-born husband and two daughters. She's travelled extensively throughout the Americas and Europe, and thrives on the experiences that take place in between the lines of a travel itinerary. She's a cancer survivor, an experience that taught her to embrace human connections as much in her daily life as she does in her travels.
