Bertram C. Bruce is a lifelong traveller and wilderness enthusiast, who's spent more than six decades exploring the planet by foot, boat and plane. Now retried, he's a professor emeritus of Information Sciences at the University of Illinois, and lives in Cape Cod, Massachusetts, with his wife Susan, where “they make connections with forests, meadows, marshes, streams and ponds, and the diverse living things they hold.”
