Evan Solomon is a Canadian political journalist and columnist, radio host, history buff, and even novelist. Apart from the Missinaibi expedition, he also led Team Outpost across King William Island in the Canadian Arctic in search of clues as to what happened to John Franklin and his crew in 1847, before the discovery of the famed lost ships off the coast of Nunavut, and wrote the story for Outpost.
