Brad Brasseur is probably the only Canadian humanitarian with more than 100,000 Twitter followers. His feed is a mix of inspirational quotes, photos of children he’s helped and wonkish articles about global aid.
How did he gain this massive following? How can travellers help people abroad, without falling into traps of voluntourism? He talks with Outpost contributor Michael Fraiman about the challenges and triumphs of being a global humanitarian.
