With its almost tropical turquoise water and shorelines, Turkey’s sun-drenched Aegean coast and islands are the ideal place to escape the troubles of the world. Sleeping and eating aboard a traditional two-masted wooden Turkish gules, this trip sails from the ancient mainland city of Bodrum on the Gulf of Gokova.
Each evening is spent at anchor in a different port, fishing village or island, while days are spent swimming in secluded bays, lounging on deck or exploring nearby sights. Included are all meals, prepared and served on board the gulet, as well as visits to Orak Island, Cokertme, Kufre Bay, Karaca Sogut, English Harbour and Alakisla Buku. And best of all, while nights can be spent in comfortable double cabins, you can also spread your mattress on deck and sleep beneath a thousand and one stars!
